The diagonal of the intersection matrix reveals what makes each model unique. Only MASCOM-1 occupies a unique position. Every other model is a strict subset of the union.

Theorem: For every foundation model M in the capability matrix (44 models from 15 vendors), capabilities(M) is a proper subset of capabilities(MASCOM-1).

Proof sketch: Let C(M) denote the capability set of model M. Let C* = C(MASCOM-1) = the union of all CAPABILITY_AXES (83 axes). For each model M_i, we compute C(M_i) and verify that C(M_i) - C* = {} (empty set). This holds for all 44 non-MASCOM models.
